About Home Project Brief
Home Project Brief is an independent buying-guide publication for substantial home, garden and outdoor purchases.

Ownership
Home Project Brief is published and operated by Kevin Powell, a UK sole trader. The publication is editorially independent and does not sell building materials.
Editorial questions, corrections and partnership enquiries can be sent through the Contact page.
What this shop sells — and does not
This publication provides editorial guides that help homeowners plan substantial exterior, garden and outdoor purchases. It does not sell goods, take card payments or accept deposits for materials.
It is not a marketplace, a voucher directory, a stock checker or a collection of merchant homepages. It does not imitate a supplier’s branding.
If a reader later follows a labelled advertising link to a merchant, the purchase contract is with that merchant, not with Home Project Brief or Kevin Powell.
Editorial independence
Published copy is written to be usable without a commercial link. A future commission must not be the reason a material family appears on a page.
We do not present Home Project Brief as an official partner of any merchant. Network approval, if it happens, is a private commercial fact until a published page needs to disclose a live link.
We only publish a ranked comparison when the available evidence and our method can support it. Until then, we help readers compare the underlying choices and ask better questions.
Who the pages are for
UK homeowners and occupiers who are planning a project large enough to deserve a briefing before a showroom visit. The first open department is Exterior Projects: cladding, fascias, soffits and related materials.
The pages are not written for trade counter staff, for installers seeking a method statement, or for readers who only want a discount code.
Independent buying guides for UK homeowners. Operated by Kevin Powell.
Some future links on Home Project Brief may be advertising links. They will be labelled when they appear. How advertising will work.
