The pages you can read today do not contain live affiliate tracking URLs, merchant recommendation modules, or “best product” tables. There is nothing here that quietly sends you to a checkout.

If that changes, the page that carries the link will say so next to the link. A sitewide footer is not enough on its own.

Some future links may be advertising links through which Kevin Powell, the publisher of Home Project Brief, can earn a commission if you later buy from the merchant. The commission would be paid by the merchant (or their network), not added to the price you are offered as a customer.

A programme is never described as approved unless that approval has been recorded. Programme rates and other private commercial terms are not presented as a reason to trust a recommendation.

A labelled advertising link is not an official partnership. Home Project Brief is not the merchant’s agent for the sale of goods.

Treat it as advertising. Compare it with at least one other source. Read the merchant’s own terms, delivery and returns pages before you pay.

Editorial copy on the same page should still make sense if you never click the link. If it does not, the page is not ready to publish.

UK advertising rules require marketing communications to be obviously identifiable. Any future commercial link will use a clear written label beside the link, supported by the disclosure on this page.

We do not rely on an unexplained icon or a footer-only notice to identify advertising.
